Calling All Cooks!

I'm taking up Pampered Chef orders to help Krystal & Michael raise funds for their 2 adoptions. (www.braydenboy.blogspot.com). If you'd like to place an order, definitely let me know. I have several PC products that I love, and I already have my eye on a few more. Check out the trifle bowl at www.pamperedchef.com. Let me know if you want to place an order online. I'll figure out the link specific to the Krystal's party and send it to you.

Here a couple of pictures from today and yesterday.
Momma's little girl loves green beans! I think I should try to sell this picture to Del Monte, the maker of Nature's Goodness baby food! We've started undressing Addy when we she eats. A bib just doesn't provide enough coverage! I got tired of soaking all of her clothes until I did a load of laundry.

Adelyn is fascinated with Seth's hats. She loves to look at them when he's wearing them and play with them when he's not wearing them. Here's a cute pic of her in Daddy's hat. You see that shimmer under her eye? That is a left over tear. My baby girl can be quite emotional sometimes... Fussing one minute and smiling the next.

Pictures of the Princess

Adelyn has many nicknames. Grandma Pam calls her Princess. Here are some recent pics of our precious little one and some of her first nicknames.

Serious Adelyn. She appears to be in deep thought here.

Squirmy Sue - she's supposed to stay on her quilt, but she's decided to crawl over to the photo albums with pictures of her in them.

Smiley Sue - Adelyn wakes up in a great mood.

Sharks!

Some friends of ours recently went to the beach, where some real live sharks were hanging around. We have a different type of shark at our house. Daddy is teaching Addy to be a pool shark. She may look innocent, but she's got skillz!

I think I'm stripes. Let me grab this ball right here and start working my magic!

I'm gonna go get it!

Got it, but mom caught me. Something tells me she isn't going to let me put this in my mouth!

Speaking of our friends, http://www.braydenboy.blogspot.com/, they are adopting two precious boys from Guatemala. Adoption is very expensive and they are doing some fundraising to help with the cost of getting these boys home. If you can help, click on their blog or look for the link on my blog to renew your magazine subscriptions or start a new subscription. Seth just subscribed to Family Handy Man! They will also be having a few other fundraisers in the coming weeks including a Pampered Chef event. Please let me know if you'd like to order something!

Growing So Fast!

I know it has been a while since I've posted, but I've been busy and tired!!

Adelyn had her 6 month well baby visit on Monday. The doctor said that she looks "marvelous!" She was 26.5 inches long (75th percentile) and weighed 16 lbs 10 oz (60th percentile). Her little head was 41.5 inches around, and her head circumference has always been in the 25th percentile. I was guessing that she weighed 16 lbs 12 oz, so I was really close.

As seen here, Addy's current favorite food is avocados! I usually undress her because we always make a big mess! You can also see her 2 little teeth in this picture.

Look at this very serious look she's giving me!

Inside the exersaucer is for babies, Addy says she is a big girl and can stand on the outside and play with stuff! This girl is going to be on the move very soon. She is starting to crawl a little and can make it across a blanket in record time! Grandma Pam refers to it as a cage, but we are going to need to buy a play yard very soon. With 2 sets of stairs in our house, we need to make things a little safer for a little one around here.

Happy 6 Month Birthday Sugarino!

It is hard to believe that our little one is already 6 months old! Time goes by so fast. We think she'll be crawling soon. She's been getting up on her hands and knees. Sometimes she'll move her hands and legs a few times forward and then get back on her belly.

In other news, I've reconnected with a cousin of mine that I haven't seen in 11 years. So, here's a shout out to Alycia and her family in Florida! :)

Here are a few pictures of my sweetie from this weekend.

Happy 4th of July!

As extensive as Addy's wardrobe is, we didn't have any red, white and blue outfits - so we went with red, white and Pooh! :)

We celebrated the 4th by spending some time with Grandma Pam, Uncle Josh and Uncle Justin! We normally gather at our house, but since Josh is the proud papa to 11 brand new puppies, we had to go over there and take a look! Right now these little ones resemble little piglets, but I know they will be adorable. Here they are now -

Their dad was so cute when he was a puppy. Here is Cole (I call him Charlie) when he stayed with us for a few weeks when he was a few months old. He's the gray dog in the middle. He's hanging out with my sweet Cleo and Caesar.

Adelyn is telling Grandma Pam all about "it" in this pic.

To Grandma's House We Go!

I was really proud of sweet Adelyn this weekend. We took a 4.5 hour trip to Illinois to visit Seth's parents. There were definitely some rough times in the car, but for a 5 1/2 month old baby, she did so well. She saw her grandparents, 1 great aunt, 2 aunts and 5 cousins! Needless to say, Addy Rose got plenty of attention this weekend. She really was an angel this weekend. She got a little overwhelmed a few times when too many kids crowded around at once, but we expected that. She started reaching her arms out to come to me, which I think is very cool. I like that when she gets tired and uncomfortable that she wants to be with her momma. I didn't get that many good pics from this weekend, but here are a few.

Aunt Lesley is holding Little Miss while cousins, Jordan, Garrett and Brody, check her out.

Adelyn really took to her Grandpa. He even got her to sleep once by rubbing her back while I was taking a shower!
On the way home, our little stinker only slept for 40 minutes. I had to be pretty creative in my entertainment methods for the rest of the 4.5 hours. All future road trips will have to take place in a mini van or when Baby Girl is a little older.

A sweet pic!

I can't really blame Adelyn for sleeping better in mom & dad's bed. Look how cozy this looks! It is much better than a crib with no daddy and no blanket.
