So, here are 7 wierd/strange facts about myself.

Here are 7 wierd/strange facts about me - I don't think they are actually strange, but maybe unknown or somewhat interesting...

1. I'm a CPA and make a living as a bank examiner, but lately I spend hours making bows for not much profit.

2. He died before I was old enough to know him, but my paternal grandfather was 100% Cherokee.

3. I lived in Reno, NV.

4. My husband and I used to work together, and I loved being able to spend so much time with him! Most couples wouldn't want to be together 24/7, but I thought it was wonderful.

5. I used to jog and be somewhat athletic. I could easily jog for 5 miles... I need to get off the couch and back on the treadmill.

6. I'm sort of a weather fanatic. I like to know what the weather is supposed to be like.

7. This isn't strange, but I am proud of it, so my 7th item - I set a goal to breastfeed for at least a year - I made it, and I'm so glad I did.

Party Girl!

We had Adelyn's party last weekend and Cohen's party this weekend. Adelyn has gotten pretty independent. She thoroughly explored Tonya's house and made her way through the crowd all day.

My mom went to Nevada to visit my grandfather. We'll miss her while she's there, but she can always check on us from there. Here are some pics!

Our little monkey has entered the climbing stage. She has climbed all of the stairs going from the main floor to the upstairs several times today. It looks like she wanted to climb out of this chair too.
Stacking the blocks in new for Adelyn. Until recently, she only waited for us to build them up while she knocked them down.

Birthday Girl gets a Party - 100th Post!

This is my 100th post! I'm worn out, but I thought I'd post a few pics of Miss Adelyn at her party! I didn't get as many pictures as I thought I did, but I'm hoping that some that somebody else got some good ones! (How are yours Lesley?) I also got some video with the new camcorder. I need try to figure out posting it.s girl loves balloons! She likes to walk through a bunch of them and watch them scatter.
She's getting so big. She looks like a big girl in this picture.
Adelyn got tired of wearing her bow, so Uncle Josh tried it on. Nice...

1 Year Ago Today...

our lives changed forever. Our sweet baby girl is 1 year old today. It is so hard to believe that I've been a mom for a whole year! It went by so quickly. Adelyn is an amazing and wonderful tiny little person. I'm so proud of her, and I'm grateful for the gift God has given us.

I'll have celebration pics after this weekend, but here's one I took the other day... What a cutie pie!

Adelyn went to her first New Year's Eve party, but her sleep schedule is not something we toy with, so we headed home in time to get her to bed at a decent hour. Happy New Year!
