I can't believe how long it has been since I've posted! We've been so busy, and I've been really tired. Adelyn is doing great. We visited Seth's family over the 4th of July weekend. Adelyn was a good girl and we had a good time. Here are a few pics!
Adelyn's 18 month check up was Monday. She is doing great. She has said about 25 words. She's been walking, running, climbing, etc for months.
Since we had the long car ride and she's a whopping 22lbs (2 whole lbs of the minimum requirement), we turned her carseat to forward facing. It doesn't matter, she still doesn't like long car rides.

This is a super rare scene! Adelyn never shows any interest in TV. In fact, she'll usually walk over to it and turn it off to signal she's had enough of mom or dad resting and she's ready to get moving. Anyway, we've recently been putting in some Baby Einstein DVDs in the van since we turned her seat around. They actually interest her for short intervals. Here's a picture of her today. She's actually watching TV!! Not that we expect her to want to do it often, but every once in a while, it is a nice change of pace.
