It was a Wonderful Day!

I started the day with birthday pie! I ended the day with birthday candy! We went to Mi Casita for a birthday lunch! The weather was beautiful and Adelyn is the sweetest, funniest girl! What a nice birthday!

Our little Addy Rose has always been able to make me laugh. She's really funny. She has so many tricks these days, and she's learning so much. She has so many funny routines. I sure do enjoy this little girl! I really need to take the time to share a few of her little quirks. :O)

Sweet Smile!

This little girl loves to climb all over the place. She can get up in the big rocking chair by herself, and she's really proud when she does.

This Little Girl Loves Being Outside

Adelyn loves being outside. We take her out whenever the weather permits. Here are several photos from around the house.
We live in a subdivision, but there's a farm at the end of our street. Adelyn thinks these are tall dogs. She barks when we see them.
Her "big smile." This is the face we get when we ask for a smile, and it cracks us up every time.
She's pointing at someone on their riding lawn mower...
What a pretty little face.
This pic reminds me of Caesar, my brother's pit bull. Whenever he saw something outside the fence, he'd run to the fence, put his paw on the cross plank and look between the planks.
Mommy's pretty playful princess loves being outside!

Happy Easter From Our Big Girl!!

Anyone that has been around babies very much realizes how much babies grow/change/develop in one year, but as a first time parent, it is amazing to me how our little one has changed since last Easter. We spent most of the day with my family, which includes my 8 week old neice. Adelyn seems like such a big girl now!

God Bless my husband! Adelyn was a very fussy newborn - maybe it was colic, maybe she just wanted back in the womb. In any event, Seth walked Adelyn around in the position (above) for hours at a time. She loved being held like that. Poor Jazlyn was tired and a little fussy several times today. Seth put her in the "go to" position and she went right to sleep. Josh (Jazlyn's daddy) gave it a try to. She looks peaceful, huh?
Yes, Adelyn had 2 bows for Easter - a big fancy one for wearing at home for pictures (which we didn't get many of) and one for wearing to church. And, yes, I bought another Easter dress for Adelyn, but Grandma Pam bought these dresses for both of the girls and the dress she bought for Adelyn looked better with Jazlyn's dress than the one I bought for her. We'll use the other one during our next fashion show!

Grandma Pam likes to bring Adelyn goodies every time she comes over. In addition to "stuff" Adelyn has Grandma Pam trained to take off her rings and let Adelyn play with them. It's a funny habit they have.

In closing, it was really nice to spend the day with everyone. I love you all! Thanks for all the Easter goodies you brought for Adelyn. I'm sure you could tell that she loved it all!

She Likes Hats and Shoes... More Cute Pics - 2 Posts in One Day!

Adelyn loves this hat! She puts it on herself and will wear it for it for a long time.
She also loves to GO! She constant wants to go bye bye. She ran to the door the other day and said bye, bye, bye! Look how cute those little shoes are. Adelyn loves cute shoes!

Look at Mommy's little sailor!
She likes these shoes a lot. They look like they'd be uncomfortable, but she fussed everytime I tried to take them off.
